Activities of elementary school students (SD) lately have been more diverse, they do things that are done by older people without knowing the consequences they will face. BK teacher's role is very important in this regard. Characteristics of guidance and counseling (BK) in elementary school are very different because it can be used as classroom teacher's BK teachers.
BK teacher's task is to conduct guidance to see the potential, talent, enthusiasm and intelligence of students. In addition, counseling on problems was experienced by students who could potentially interfere in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to find out a model of developmental guidance and counseling (GC) in elementary schools. This study was conducted in four stages: development of a hypothetical model, judgment of the model, try out of the model, and development of the recommended model. As a result, the model of developmental GC consists of vision and mission, developmental tasks and needs of elementary school students, purposes of GC services, scope of guidance activities, and system support.
Implementation of GC programs is integrated in all educational activities especially in teaching learning process.
